For YOUR tomorrow, WE gave OUR today!

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY is observed by many countries around the world. ‘YESTERDAY,’ many nationals from many nations paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives so that others/we may live ‘TODAY!’

When you go home, tell them of us and say, “For YOUR tomorrow, WE gave OUR today!”

🕊️ MANY FROM THE CARIBBEAN AND ELSEWHERE FOUGHT FOR PEACE. 🕊️

Lest We Forget!

MY FAMILY ORIGINS are in/from the tiny and beautiful island of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique 🇬🇩 in the Caribbean who, like many from the Caribbean islands and elsewhere in the Commonwealth and beyond, saw their nationals make many sacrifices and the ultimate sacrifice.

As you know, I love to travel. However, sometimes, travelling isn’t just about discovering new places. It’s also about taking a moment to pause, reflect and remember.

During my latest visit to Liverpool, I came across a poignant “Lest We Forget” remembrance tribute at the historic Royal Albert Dock, a reminder of the courage, sacrifice and service of those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Lest We Forget!

🕊️Peace 🕊️
